Sarah

Hi!  My name is Sarah!  I have been an educator for the past eight years.  I graduated with a degree in Musical Theater from Marymount Manhattan College.  During my years in NYC from 2014-2020, I taught dance, choreographed/performed in Off-Broadway shows, and tutored students of various educational and learning backgrounds in all subjects. Additionally, I was Dance Director at Camp Twelve Trails, an inclusive summer camp in which students of all neurodiverse profiles were celebrated and therefore, thrived.

I moved to LA in August 2020.  Since the big move, I've been privately tutoring students of all ages and abilities in Math, English, and History, and teaching 5th and 7th Grade at Temple Akiba.  The most important thing to me is that every child feels safe, understood, and valued.  To this day, I still reach out to the tutors I had when I was a kid.  My goal is to make the same impact and create a mentorship and friendship that will continue to grow.  

When I'm not teaching, you will find me in a ballet class, hot yoga studio, hosting Shabbat dinners, catching up on my favorite TV shows- Survivor and The Bachelor, and traveling around the world!
