Hi, I’m Samantha! I’m a reading specialist with a passion for helping students unlock the power of literacy. I specialize in Sensory-Cognitive reading remediation and use evidence-based programs like Lindamood-Bell’s Seeing Stars and Visualizing and Verbalizing to support learners in building up their confidence and skill.  I have extensive experience working with students who have diverse learning profiles, including dyslexia, ASD, APD, and ADHD. 

Additionally, I have been lucky to work with the J3 Foundation, which has allowed me to bring high-impact literacy interventions to underserved schools across Los Angeles, and I’m deeply committed to the belief that reading success should be accessible to every student, regardless of their background or learning style.

As an artist and diverse learner myself, I deeply appreciate nuance and uniqueness in all of my students. I believe learning should be dynamic, inclusive, and tailored to the individual. There is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach and whether I’m working one-on-one or collaborating with educators, my goal is always the same: to make students feel seen, capable, and empowered as readers.
