Karina

Educational Therapist

I am an Educational Therapist with experience supporting elementary school students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I earned my undergraduate degree from Tulane University and later completed my Educational Therapy certification through UC Riverside, along with Orton-Gillingham training in structured literacy.

I have worked with a wide range of learners, including students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. I use the Orton-Gillingham approach to build foundational literacy skills and create individualized intervention plans tailored to each child’s specific strengths and needs. My goal is to help children build confidence, independence, and the skills they need to feel successful in school and beyond.

I strive to make learning fun and engaging through interactive, multisensory sessions that support neurodiverse learners. I care deeply about each of my students and always want them to feel seen, supported, and proud of their progress. I am committed to helping every child grow into a more confident and independent learner.
