Jack

Hi, I’m Jack! I am a Southern California native with a passion for helping students gain independent learning skills to meet their full potential. I am a musical theatre graduate of Orange County School of the Arts and a theatre graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte (summa cum laude). Since graduating in 2019, I have been tutoring and working as an independent study instructor for students (kindergarten through college) throughout Los Angeles.

I specialize in English (including AP English Language and Composition), SAT/ACT test prep, ISEE prep, history, all elementary level subjects, and executive functioning skills. I have experience working with students across the spectrum of neurodiversity (including those with ADHD, ADD, OCD, auditory processing disorder, nonverbal learning disorder, and autism). 

My background as an actor and educator allows me to engage with students on an individual basis and problem-solve as new challenges arise. Specifically, with executive functioning coaching, I prioritize helping students build systems that are simplistic, sustainable, and symbiotic for their individual needs. Empowering students with their own knowledge and guiding them to become independent learners is extremely fulfilling to me.
