Erin

Learning Specialist

Mult. Subject TC, MA.T

Hello! My name is Erin, and I have been an educator for over a decade. After I graduated from The University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in English, I attended St. Mary’s College in the San Francisco Bay Area, where I earned my Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential and a Master’s Degree in Teaching.

As a classroom teacher, tutor (in the United States and abroad), an educational director supervising other educators, and learning specialist, I have extensive experience working with students at the kindergarten through the eighth-grade level. Throughout these public and private school roles in education, I have gained an expertise in supporting students with numerous backgrounds, and a wide variety of learning styles and/or differences such as ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning deficits, as well as providing enrichment and extension opportunities for gifted and talented students.

With a passion for helping students to reach their full potential, I strive to provide a fun, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for my students to be able to succeed academically, socially and emotionally. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling to new places, and working on my yoga and tennis skills!
