Erfan
Educational Therapist & EF Coach
MA, ET
Good day,
My name is Erfan (pronounced Air-fawn). I hold a Bachelor's degree in Deaf Studies and a Master's degree in Educational Therapy and Special Education from California State University, Northridge. I’ve worked in the field of education for over 26 years in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, interventionist, and educational therapist.
Since 2000, when I began my career as an intern educational therapist, I have worked with students from transitional kindergarten through adulthood. In 2005, I launched my own private practice, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting a wide range of learners.
My practice includes working with neurodiverse students and those with diagnosed learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, language-based learning disabilities, auditory and visual processing challenges, and executive functioning deficits. I specialize in helping students who struggle with reading, writing, math, organization, self-regulation, and school-related anxiety.
I work with both traditionally schooled and homeschooled students, and I am experienced in collaborating closely with families, teachers, and related service providers to create consistent and effective support systems. My approach is individualized, strengths-based, and rooted in relationship-building, helping students build confidence, resilience, and skills that will serve them both in and beyond the classroom.
I look forward to the opportunity to support your students in their learning and educational journeys.
