Professionally Certified Educational Therapist

M.AT, PCET

Hi! I'm Cynthia and I've been helping students reach their full academic potential since 1999. I have a Master’s degree in Teaching (Best Practices) from National University and am a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist, trained through the National Institute of Learning Development. Over the years I've had the pleasure of working with all types of students including those that are: gifted, twice-exceptional learners, those have mild to moderate learning differences, those struggling with attention issues (ADHD), students who have difficulty with executive functioning skills such as: prioritizing, studying, organizing, planning, time management, taking tests, students with processing disorders, student athletes, and so much more.

I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities, and have encountered and helped students with a variety of unique needs over my years working as both an Assistant Principal of Academics managing and working with other Educational Therapists, and as a private Educational Therapist myself. When I'm not supporting students I'm spending time with my family, crocheting, reading or camping.
