Brynn
Learning Specialist & EF Coach
PPSC, MA
Hi, my name is Brynn, and I’m a dedicated Learning Specialist and Executive Functioning Coach with a strong foundation in psychology, school counseling, and Educational Therapy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University, where I graduated summa cum laude.
My professional experience spans early childhood through adolescence. As a private tutor, I’ve worked one-on-one with elementary and middle school students to strengthen academic skills and build study habits tailored to each learner’s unique needs. At Lindamood-Bell Learning Center, I received training in multisensory, research-based interventions focused on improving reading comprehension, fluency, and cognitive processing. As a school counselor, I led classroom lessons on growth mindset, self-talk, emotional regulation, and future goal setting, while also providing individualized support for students navigating social-emotional and behavioral challenges. I’ve also taught Pre-K, helping young children build foundational skills in communication, routine, and self-regulation.
I’m also trained in the Wilson Reading System®, aligning my literacy instruction with the Science of Reading and using structured, evidence-based methods to support decoding, fluency, and comprehension. My approach is holistic—I strive to empower students to build executive functioning skills, self-confidence, and academic resilience. I’m passionate about meeting students where they are and equipping them with the tools and strategies they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
