Alicia

Educational Therapist

M.S., Ed.S., ET

Hi! My name is Alicia - I’m originally from Michigan, but moved to California just over a year ago. I’m loving the year-round sunshine! I have been working with children for the past 10 years.

I have an Educational Specialist Degree in School Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, and I am also an Educational Therapist.

I have years of demonstrated experience in a variety of settings including school districts, online learning, clinics, and in homes. Some of my previous roles have been a school psychologist, a behavior therapist, an early intervention teacher, and a social skills and job skills coach.

During my time as a school psychologist, I served as the team leader for all special education evaluations. I worked together with several other providers to evaluate and recommend the best services and support for students. While I loved parts of this career, I knew I wanted the opportunity to work more closely with students. This led me to Educational Therapy! I can now use my expertise in the area of assessment, learning disabilities, and intervention to provide specialized support to students. Being able to work with children and see them thrive is my favorite and the most rewarding part of this career.

My number one goal is to equip all students, educators, and parents to succeed. I believe every student deserves a quality education and to feel empowered to reach their fullest potential. The best way to achieve this is with an invested and quality team of supporters.
