Alexandra
Educational Interventionist
I’m a Los Angeles native and a graduate of Vanderbilt University. My journey in education actually started far from home—teaching English to French students on the Mediterranean island of Corsica. Since then, I’ve spent many years as part of the team at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, where I developed deep expertise in their highly effective literacy and comprehension programs.
What began as a summer tutoring job grew into a full career, eventually leading me to the role of Associate Center Director at the Westwood office. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of students of all ages, helping them build confidence and develop lifelong academic skills. I’ve worked extensively with neurodivergent learners, creating and adapting individualized lesson plans that respond to their evolving needs and goals. More recently, I stepped away from the traditional in-center model to focus on providing more personalized, high-quality support through private tutoring.
My ongoing goal is simple: to build strong, meaningful relationships with students and their families so I can support their learning in a flexible, affordable, and highly individualized way. I believe that nurturing a love of learning—and a willingness to embrace challenge—is the foundation of a fulfilling educational journey, both in school and far beyond.
