Aisha

Hi, I’m Aisha. I have been working in the field of Education since 1995, having taught elementary, middle, high school, and adults. I have worked as an Academic Instructor, Teacher, Educational Support Specialist, Educational Advisor, Resource Specialist, Counselor, Case Manager, Qualified Mental Retardation Professional, and Educational Therapist. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in both Communications and Ethnic Studies from California State University, Fullerton, in 2004. In 2010, I obtained my Masters of Arts in Teaching, specializing in Teaching and Learning in a Global Society, from National University.

Additionally, I hold a clear California Teaching Credential in Adult Education, from the University of San Diego, and a certificate in Educational Therapy, which I earned from the University California at Riverside. In addition to working as an Educational Therapist at Illuminate, I also work as an Educational Therapist at a private school serving school-aged students with learning differences and those diagnosed with special needs.

My focus and goal is to increase self-advocacy and support educational programs that empower people who are affected by unequal and inequitable boundaries.
